Flight

‘Flight’ is a project exploring the fragility of insects and their flight patterns and how us as humans recognise this and want to take it for ourselves. The outcomes are acrylic paintings on wood and canvas with pencil and ruler lines to resemble the flight patterns. The wings are paper, tissue paper, fabric and thread. I have decided to display my paintings as a display case and use nails to resemble the specimen preservation of insect pinning.
